Upcoming deadlines
Please make a note of these upcoming deadlines:
Speaker’s bionote due – March 29
Presentation submission deadline – April 5
Speaker bionote
In order for a session chair to properly introduce you as a speaker, please forward your bionote by March, 29 to minewatersolutions@infomine.com.
Bionote guidelines:
-
Language: English
-
Maximum extension: 150 words
-
Content: mention your current position title, your area of expertise and highlight specific accomplishments (eg published books, patents, important projects, etc).
Presentation preparation and submission
Please submit your PowerPoint presentation files to minewatersolutions@infomine.com by April 5.
Presentation guidelines:
-
Master template. To ensure uniformity and professional appearance, we encourage you to use the master template when preparing your presentations.
-
Language: English. Simultaneous translation will be available and oral presentation can be made in Spanish. However, we request that you prepare your PowerPoint slides in English.
-
Maximum number of slides: 25. You will only have 20 minutes to deliver your presentation and having a large number of slides to go through may make it difficult for you to focus your presentation and finish it on time.
-
Fonts and colours. Please use aesthetically pleasing colours and fonts. Avoid inserting too much text; focus on visual aspects instead.
-
Content. Please avoid generalities and lengthy background descriptions. Please remember that conference participants are technical specialists with expertise and experience in topics to be discussed at the conference. This presentation should showcase your research and scientific findings and must not be used as a vehicle for commercial promotion.
Speaker registration
Only submissions of attending authors can be included in the book of the proceedings and the conference presentations program. All speakers must be registered at this time.
